HOW TO BECOME AN FRVC VOLUNTEER

The most important requirement to become a volunteer with Fisheries Resource Volunteer Corps (FRVC) is to have a love and respect for the natural environment and an interest in volunteering to make a positive impact on preserving public lands and the streams within them. To be eligible, volunteers must be 18 years of age or older, sign the Forest Service Volunteer Agreement, and complete the FRVC Training program.

While some stream patrols and activities may be more physically demanding, we welcome volunteers of all abilities and will work with you to find activities that match your interests and abilities.

The Benefits of Volunteering with Fisheries Resource Volunteer Corps:

  • You will be part of a select group of individuals who are committed to making a positive impact on the environment.

  • Meet and connect with like-minded individuals through participation in patrols, conservation projects, and training.

  • Gain valuable hands-on experience by participating in watershed monitoring, and conservation projects.

  • Experience the beauty of nature and explore unique and pristine environments that few have seen.

If you're interested in becoming a volunteer with FRVC, fill out the form below or contact us for more information. We look forward to hearing from you and working together to preserve and protect public lands.
