Since 1994, we have monitored streams in the Angeles and San Bernardino National Forests.

Fisheries Resource Volunteer Corps (FRVC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that works to protect and preserve 16 wild trout streams and rivers in the Angeles and San Bernardino National Forests through education, conservation, and stewardship. We empower individuals and communities to take active roles in preserving and protecting these public lands and fostering a culture of respect, responsibility, and accountability among forest visitors.

Working in partnership with the California Department of Fish & Wildlife (CDFW) and the U.S. Forest Service (USFS) , our efforts include: public education, sign maintenance, removing invasive plants and species, illegal fire rings, environmentally harmful graffiti, recreational dams and assisting with ongoing fisheries and conservation projects. Our work is not in any form related to law enforcement, it's centered around the protection of natural resources, conservation and educating the public. We aim to create an inclusive and welcoming environment, where everyone is encouraged to take part in protecting and preserving our cultural and natural heritage sites for future generations to enjoy.

Our volunteers play a vital role in our mission and we are always looking for people who are passionate about protecting and preserving natural resources to join us.
